Paneer Roll
History

Ingredients
For the Paneer Filling
- 250g paneer, crumbled
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 2 green chilies, chopped
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 2 tbsp oil
- Fresh cilantro
For the Rolls
- 4 large tortillas or paratha
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1 lettuce, shredded
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 1/4 cup mint chutney
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- Salt to taste
- Lemon wedges
Cooking Utensils
Instructions
Crumble Paneer
Crumble paneer with hands or fork. Set aside.
Sauté Vegetables
Heat oil, sauté onions until golden. Add ginger-garlic paste.
Add Bell Peppers
Add bell peppers and green chilies. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
Add Spices
Add turmeric, cumin powder, and salt. Mix well.
Add Paneer
Add crumbled paneer and cook for 3-4 minutes until well combined.
Finish Filling
Add garam masala and cilantro. Mix and let cool slightly.
Warm Tortillas
Warm tortillas in dry pan until soft and pliable.
Spread Sauce
Spread mint chutney and mayonnaise on each tortilla.
Assemble Rolls
Add lettuce, paneer mixture, cheese, and tomato slices.
Roll and Serve
Roll tightly, cut in half, and serve with lemon wedges.
